  1. ... What are you doing to the poor pieces of technology? I mean, sure, using them as modems (summoning hotspots and whatnot?) to use the internet with other things is common... But how do you break them? Throw them under a truck? Off a cliff? Into a vat of chocolate?

    1. P.S. Always yell Fire if you fall into a vat of chocolate

(I wonder how many people get that one)

  2. This is why I keep old phones and sim card adapters. If my phone is wrecked, chances are the sim is still salvagable. If not, I can activate a prepaid sim from a pay phone or using a public internet connection.

    1. The closest public internet connection is 40 kilometer away... I work at quite the rural area...

  5. ^what seitora said

Well there's your answer to what you should use your donations for lol

p.s where does one apply to be a part-time editor/translator here?
If you're fine with it I would love to help you on some of your projects esp. GenOu and the New World

    1. I hope you'll help with GenOu if they (Yukkuri/Larvyde) want.

BTW, why didn't you translate GenOu when Larvyde was doing his part? It would have decreased the time between the chapters (of different translators)?

I mean, if you're sharing the chapters, while he does chapter A, you start chapter B and not after he has finished chapter A.
I'm saying this after seeing the 20% progress for Arc3ch2A. (or is the interlude that long?)

Oh and as the others said, you should use something else as a modem.

  6. Yukkuri-san, please dont use ur smartphone for modems... nowadays they aren't built for last in heavy duty task. I consider hotspot as heavy duty cause it really makes ur phone HOT AS HELL.. Those IC, battery and any other components will eventually break down under harsh environment.
Heat is the worst enemy for electronics, all kinds of them.
This is my knowledge as physics engineering student.

Hope u will find decent modem soon

P.S.: u forgot to tell me ur bank acc

  7. Is there any dedicated ISP on your area? Using phones for modem, in my opinion, is like baking your phones. It will make them easier to break.

    1. dedicated ISP? Nope. None here... Even the Health Center's internet is using USB plug-n-play GSM-Modem that is using phone company internet.

I am in the rural area afterall.. There is no phone cable here. Just cellular towers (yup plurals)
